Going Beyond Rehabilitation Into The Relam Of Fitness With Alex Connor.

 

This is Alex from Berry Chiropractic Center. I would like to let you know about our NEW Ffitness Class offering, called 'Mindful Movement'   - scroll down to learn more -

This is a 4 week program that takes place in the office. It is designed as an 8 session course, meant to instruct you in a number of rehabilitative and reconditioning movements and exercises. These go beyond your rehabilitation of injury, either acute or chronic, and take you into the realm of fitness, but in a supportive environment, with a relaxed pace, and detailed instruction. 

 

 

The intent of this class is to lay a foundation of proper movement to prevent injury and effectively develop fitness, and give you the tools to carry on this development in whatever other physical activities you might pursue, develop a practice at home, or continue to attend classes over time.

 

We will be utilizing a variety of mobility exercises, bodyweight and external weight exercises, kettlebell exercises, clubbell exercises, as well as crawling, balancing, hanging, and a host of other movements, postures, and techniques. If you feel uncomfortable with any part of this, please know the group size will be small allowing me to modify the activity to your appropriate level, and you do not have to do anything you are not comfortable with. 

 

This course is held monthly, with a total of 8 sessions and will meet 2x per week for 4 weeks. Right now, these will be Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00pm. Please allow 1.5 hours to cover all the material. 

 

Cost for full course sign up is $15/session, or $120/course. 

 

If you wish to come on a class by class basis, cost is $20/class. This is to encourage a commitment of at least 4 weeks as this is recognized as the minimum time needed to form new habits and lifestyle changes. As well, popping in on a class can create programming and space challenges, but you are welcome to use this option if you wish.
