Movement Is Medicine is a mixture of foam rolling, mobility drills, dynamic stretching and strength training.
Dr. Berry uses kettlebells for strength training due to the odd shape of the kettlebell, which throws the center of gravity off and forces you to move around the bell.
Quality of movement and technique is stressed so injuries are avoided. Dr. Berry and his fellow instructor are both Certified Functional Strength Coachs through Mike Boyles national certification program. Dr. Berry is also a certified kettlebell instructor through Strong First.
Classes are on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
